Truls Velgaard – Country CEO

Truls Velgaard started his career at Fredriksstad Blad as a journalist in 1979. He was appointed editor-in-chief and managing director of Fredriksstad Blad in 1991. Truls Velgaard joined Orkla Media in 1998 as director for Region Ost, one of three regions within Orkla Media Norway. In August 2005, he made director of sales and marketing competence in Orkla Media, and he became CEO of Poland in August 2006.

Joanna Pilcicka – CEO, Media Regionalne

Joanna Pilcicka has been managing Media Regionalne since August 2005. Prior to that, she was managing the Prasa Podlaska publishing house, editor of Kurier Poranny and Gazeta Współczesna - at the time owned by Orkla Press Polska, but since acquired by Mecom in 2006. In Orkla Press Polska, Joanna Pilcicka had the position of group HR director, responsible for editorial development of regional titles.

Roman Czarnuch – CFO, Media Regionalne

Roman Czarnuch was appointed deputy managing director and financial director of Orkla Press Polska in July 2005. He had held various positions in Carlsberg, including CFO in the Bosman Breweries and chief information officer with the responsibility for the IT shared service center in Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia. Before joining Carlsberg, he held several managing positions in banking and finance sector.

Paweł Bień – CFO, Presspublica

Paweł Bień is a graduate of the Warsaw Technical University; he is also a graduate of post-graduate MBA programme at the Management Department of Warsaw University. Since January 2008, he has been the vice-president of management board at Presspublica, being responsible for finance and IT. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years for Nokia in Poland, Saudi Arabia and the USA.
